Grant’s Green Power Blog

Live Free…Live Green…Live Powerful

There are many plans for building your own wind or solar electric generators.

Here are four of the best, in my opinion.  Look at each one,

then choose the one that best fits you.

THE TOP FOUR “Git’er Done” Sites

#1  Energy 4 Earth                          http://goskyward1.earth4.hop.clickbank.net/

#2  Wind Generator Plans               http://goskyward1.windplans.hop.clickbank.net/

#3  Free Energy Options                 http://goskyward1.energyopt.hop.clickbank.net/

#4  Make Natural Power                  http://goskyward1.natpower.hop.clickbank.net/

CLICK ON EACH ONE…AND CHOOSE THE BEST ONE FOR YOU

They ALL come with a money-back guarantee!  So, No Risk to You!  Order them right from thier page. They are from different authors and approach this area from somewhat different directions.

Go look at each one.  Then see yourself:

  1. Generating your OWN power
  2. Stop sending a check into the electric company
  3. Make the world cleaner.

Let me know what you think of these programs.

I’VE HAD IT!!
All of last summer the area in which we live {a canyon just to the east of the Salt Lake Valley (UT)} suffered constant power outages. Many of the homes are older {our house is 52 yrs old}and the winters here are pretty hard.
So starting this last fall {great time to start!…LOL} they started replacing the main power lines up the canyon. To do this they have had to turn the power off several scheduled times. There have been MANY other UNPLANNED outages.
This has gotten me to thinking “Is there an alternative?” I’m tired of having my power go off and wrecking my computer. I’ve paid out over $300 in the last while just to get it fixed again.
So I went to the web and started looking. BOY are there a LOT of things to look at. I started to get really confused.
But after a lot of study and comparison I came up with the idea that a wind generator would do the trick. I looked at solar but where my house is located on the south side of the canyon and halfway up the side during the winter we get little “direct” sun.
So wind it is.
I’ve listed the 4 best sites I could find. I picked one of them but you may see it different and choose another. Fine by me. Each one looks at it in a different way.
I do hope this helps others.
You know making it help the environment TOO isn’t bad either.
Let me know what you think.

P.S. Do you realize I can make a wind generator myself for 2/3′s of what I just had to pay to get my computer fixed!!!!

Good Morning!
I was just looking at several “Free” videos of how to make a wind generator at home. Most are not bad…some are down right horrable. I found that most, if not all are lacking the details of certain points. What I mean is the instructor will say “Now do _______and then you do _____to this. Well the ________’s are not very clear to someone that doesn’t do metalworking every day or lives in the shop. That’s why I have found the sites listed on this blog to be well above average in thier ability to explain, in ENGLISH just how to do it. A picture IS worth a thousand words but if the picture is in an other language it still dosen’t translate. So go check out these sites (no cost to look) and see which one fits you and your language.
Best of luck in your project.

Oh Yeah….
As I’ve said I live in a canyon and there are a lot of trees around my place. Does anyone have a “rule of thumb” as to how much [how far]of an area must be clear around a wind generator? I’ve heard several conflicting ideas. What’s the thought out there…experience?
Thanks,
“Sky”
